經由各地正式註冊並可提供抵稅收據之海外校友會，例如：中大北美校友會 NCU-NAAA (【Tax ID】 39-4510911 ) 係為在美國正式註冊之501(c)(3)非營利組織，可以在美地區接受捐贈，並提供電子收據，以辦理美國地區抵税優惠：

或是將捐贈訊息email通知海外校友會時（例如NCU-NAAA)，同時副知母校 give@ncu.edu.tw
- 請在母校捐款單留下您的EMAIL、捐款人姓名後請加上「海外校友會名稱」例如：王小華(NCU-NAAA)
- 依規定，學校在收到海外校友會的捐款後 (NCU收到捐款之後)，才會依據海外校友會提供的捐款人明細，在學校網站上公開捐款芳名錄。
- 重要說明：海外校友會(包含NCU-NAAA)所收到的捐款皆屬於海外校友會、校友會的董事會有權決定「捐多少款項」回到母校(NCU)
